This is to let you know if you already didn’t know that Father Rick on September 10, 2024, sent a letter to St. Elizabeth’s Parish stating that he had received a call from John Reese, the Rector at St. Andrew’s Episcopal church in Tampa, to be the Assisting Priest at St. Andrew’s. He accepted this Call with Bishop Scharf’s consent.![]()

His last Sunday was as Priest in Charge for St. Elizabeth’s was September 29, 2024.![]()

His reason for leaving is the 30-mile trip and the 50 minutes it takes him both ways to St. Elizabeth’s and it has become difficult with his eyes to make. Safety is a concern.![]()

He stated that he was grateful for the time he has served with us and the Ministry of Word and Sacraments he has shared with the parishioners of the family of St. Elizabeth’s.![]()
